JOB DESCRIPTION: Available upon request at the District Office
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school and (2) two years of college and/or full-time or its part-time equivalent work experience and 6 years facilities maintenance or building construction.
Experience preferred in public school facilities, HVAC and supervisory experience. Thorough knowledge of buildings and grounds maintenance, repair, and safety; Thorough knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems; Ability to supervise; Ability to maintain accurate records and files; Ability to use tools and operate equipment; Ability to inspect work on facilities to ensure compliance with contract specifications and regulations; Ability to understand, interpret, and follow instructions, plans, diagrams, specifications and blueprints; Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions; Ability to communicate effectively; Mechanical aptitude; and willingness to work under adverse weather conditions. Proficiency in Microsoft, Google, email, and web based programs.
